Aramaic Language Notes

Aramaic is an almost extinct Afro-Asiatic language once spoken in large areas of Mesopotamia, including ancient Palestine, before 200 AD. It is now found in isolated pockets of Iraq, Turkey, Iran and Syria. The language is also called Assyrian.
