For the 12th consecutive year, the United Nations overwhelmingly votes to end the USA's 40 year embargo of
Cuba. The USA vetos the resolution (passed by a record 179 to 3 - Israel and the
Marshall Islands also voting against). The USA continues to ignore world opinion and carries on with the
embargo.
