Communist ministers from the government by threatening to withdraw economic aid. In elections a year later the
USA influences the outcome when the CIA buys votes, broadcasts propaganda, threatens and beats up opposition
leaders, and infiltrates and disrupts their organizations.
In later years the USA CIA would support the Christian Democrat Party
financially.
